I like this micro-bbs/GameSrv thing with the nostalgic BBS/door games, but what I *really* want to do now is start a MUD server. I'm going to host it HERE... not on my DSL! It will not lag every night and will support lots of people. Let's get muddy.
Problem is, MT32 [the telnet client I recommended that everyone get in order to visit my micro-bbs] doesn't seem to work well with DikuMUD (or at least, this flavor of DM), so I may have to have everyone download yet another client program. I'll try to find a minimalist MUD client; like MT32 is for telnet.

Yesterday morning, my cat (or I) ripped the DSL line out of the wall by accident. It wasn't noticed at all yesterday because I didn't really use the computer at all yesterday. Found out this morning when Vanessa went "WTF!"

Tonight, mass hysteria and panic swept this tiny town, leaving dozens badly bruised, one with a severe neck injury, and several people trampled as concerned citizens flocked to their cars to get the hell out of the confined theater.
War of the Worlds was over.
The theater was packed, and all two year-olds were present, willing, and whining. Sources say someone wouldn't stop farting. Another was badly injured after being mauled for applauding at the end of the movie.
