Please make a fix for the inability to manually re-enable System Restore.
I haven't had any problems with System Restore before, and I haven't seen any quick fixes for System Restore service problems, so I don't know what to add. If you find anything that fixes System Restore in generic cases, let me know.
Try browsing in C:\WINDOWS\INF, find the 'sr.inf' file, right-click on it, and choose Install.
edit: also, I just added System Restore restrictive policies to the policy scanner for 0.56. Thanks for making me think about System Restore :)
Cool, im looking forward to this. It might fix my system restore problem. It has alwase said that my restore point was messed up. Thanks!
