I was going to edit the previous post, but making a new post will bump everyone's RSS, etc, so I am just making this stub to paste the URLs for each hour:
* 06/15/07 - Hour 1
* 06/15/07 - Hour 2

Don't forget about FREE Dial-a-fix support at Lunarsoft.net! Even if I'm too busy to be around, the regulars there know Dial-a-fix better than anyone and can definitely lead you in the right direction. Also, they'll help you with general computer/tech support problems too, not just with Dial-a-fix.

    Nice job Mike. Sorry I didn't get to listen live but I just finished the entire show.

    Wish I could have reminded you about the mice that Wade found in the one computer and the mouse nest I found.

    Anyhow, nice listening to you and Carey.

    Another great show :D. Turned out I couldn't get either of the local radio stations that carried it; my radio's lousy with AM, and the FM station was drowned out by some religious station. Did listen to the last 1/2 hr or so live on the computer, later downloaded the whole thing.

    Glad I did, I pick up good ideas every time you do one of these. Last time, I learned that malware remnants could be lurking in the SFC cache, something I hadn't known. I thought I'd cleaned out everything...

    This time, I was inspired to reduce the disk space allocated to System Restore files by XP - I knew the slider was there, but I'd never messed with it. Went in there, found it was actually 12%, reduced it by half. Don't have a terabyte HD, but 12% of 160 GB is still too much - especially since I've got 30 days of registry backups by ERUNT.

    Anyway, it was all good; but I've gone on long enough. Looking forward to your next appearance.

    See ya,
    Spence

    Post something new please. I grow weary of nothing new and refreshing from you Mr Lizard.
