    Hi Mike,

This is good news and I hope you enjoy the process of working on DAF again.

If you need any help (including finance) to help with this project then please contact me.

I use DAF regularly and I am more than willing to sponsor the project if this will help.

    Kind Regards

My broken windows Vista box is already waiting for compatible dial-a-fix.
    Meanwhile, no windows updates… :(

    Simon rocks.

Sorry gta, it will be a while… you should contact Microsoft PSS. Depending on your license, you may be eligible for free support (or not, if it's OEM).

No way! I thought development was dead on DAF. BTW, for the love of jebus, DO NOT RUN DAF on Vista using compatibility mode. That's a BAD IDEA.

Good thing I always keep a registry backup before attempting last-chance fixes…

Great to see you're back to working on the project, DjLizard!

This is great news! I still continue to use DAF often and definitely look forward to what you do with this new release.

Are you still planning to hold compatibility on OS's as old as 2000 by chance? I will mostly be using this on XP yet, but the occasional 2000 use will always be there.

Thanks again for your continued development!

I'm eagerly awaiting this as well. How much money do we need to bribe you with to get this going asap? $50,000? $100,000? Maybe you should hold a donation drive. ;)

    FridgeKitty: yes, $50,000 please.

DjLizard , you have been the savior of many of our members using XP. I was anxiously awaiting further development on Dial-a-Fix for Vista. This would have saved us many hrs. of trouble shooting. I was ever hopeful that you would resume work on DAF but, after your long letter
on changing careers well, hope kind of faded.
This is the BEST news of the last two years.
IF you do need funding and would like to start a donation drive of some kind , you can count on my contribution. I will help in any way I can.

    Athlonite.

Did you have the time and the inclination to work on it a bit since October 2007?

I come take some news. Any progress with this project ?
I really need to repair the registry of my computer because I can't install Microsoft Visio. I'm sick of repair tens of keys to install this software.
