I love your dial a fix and have told Microsoft about it but they did not believe me. When I had to do a reboot of my XP it would not download updates. Five hours on the phone with them and they could not figure it out….two minutes of Dial a Fix and it solved my problems. Now I am trying it again because I have a problem with Adobe Reader and a file that will crash Firefox and warn tht the DDL file does not exixt in Windows…Hope it will fix it.
Thanks
Firefox problems can usually be remedied by starting a new profile.

Adobe Reader… can be troublesome. I don't have any canned solutions for it.
The comment is kinda question "Win XP pro SP 2.
I have an extern HDD Maxtor Personal Storage 3100 (200 Gb) connected to one out six USB 2 ports. Now I can not connect any other USB 2 unit (an USB memory for instance) to any other USB ports. The computer can't find it and it's impossible to install. When the Maxtor 3100 is disconnected it works but never those two units at the same time.
(If I use an USB 1 hub, a message says that the unit can be faster, but it works.) "
